Gunderson Capital Management Inc. is a SEC
Registered Investment Advisory firm. Bill Gunderson is a
value-oriented, fee-based money manager who designs individualized
equity portfolios to meet the objectives and risk tolerances of his
clients. He uses the techniques of the "founding fathers" of value (or contrarian) investing managers in the world, including Benjamin
Graham, David Dreman and Warren Buffet.
The Primary Rules of Value Investing
- Identify intrinsic value of company
stocks (stock price)
- Establish a margin of safety
(usually one half of intrinsic value.)
- Buy only when stocks are
"HALF-PRICED"
- Invest fully in equities (stocks)
and diversify
- BE PATIENT
- Sell when stocks become fully
priced.
Bill buys stocks that are selling at
"HALF-PRICE" to what he calculates their intrinsic value to be. Bill
sells stocks when they reach their FULL intrinsic value or if the
companies fundamentals change dramatically. A managed stock portfolio
usually consists of somewhere between 15 to 50 stocks. When you open a
stock account with Bill, you begin with stocks that are on his
"HALF-OFF" list at that time.
